Search for Father Christmas from Coventry Airport!
An exciting day out in search of the real Father Christmas must be high on the wish list of any child or adult who loves the magic that the Christmas season brings. This ultimate festive fantasy can now be experienced on a day trip to Lapland, flying from Coventry Airport.
En route to Rovaniemi, the capital of Finnish Lapland, the atmosphere builds with carols on board the aircraft. On reaching the Arctic Circle, a whole host of adventures begin including reindeer pulled sleigh rides, tobogganing, snowmobiles, husky rides and a light Lappish lunch. The highlight of the day of course, is a magical walk through snow-laden woods in search of Father Christmas.
Chris Orphanou, Managing Director of Coventry Airport said “It’s great news that Transun Holidays is adding to the range of products and destinations available from Coventry Airport with this day trip to Lapland”.
Paul Kostich, Director of Transun Holidays added “We are a long established operator to Lapland and are delighted to add Coventry Airport to our list of departure points. We plan to develop our programme from Coventry and offer further day breaks next year”.
The ‘Wonderland’ day trip to Lapland departs Coventry Airport on Saturday 16th December and can be booked on-line at www.transun.co.uk or through travel agents.
