Coventry is a Winner!

Coventry Airport’s handling agent has scooped a top award for performance in an incentive run over the winter 2005/6 season by Thomsonfly Airport Services.

Coventry Airport Handling Ltd had to compete against Gatwick, Manchester and Doncaster for the Ready Steady Win award, which is given to airport handling agents who exceed their targets in areas such as customer service and on-time departures.

Michael Tabone, Station Manager for Coventry Airport Handling said ‘I am delighted that the hard work and dedication of the staff have been recognised with this award. We are a small team here at Coventry, but the unique close working relationship we have with airport staff and Thomsonfly has enabled us to outperform the much bigger airports we were in competition with.’

The pressure is now on to beat the 68% early departure score achieved in the summer 2006 competition.
