Coventry Welcomes its Second Carrier

Germany's leading low cost airline Hapag-Lloyd Express, today commenced services from Cologne/Bonn to Coventry Airport. The airline will be operating 3 days per week, bringing business and leisure opportunities to the Coventry region.
Managing Director of Coventry Airport, Bill Savage, said, 'We are delighted to welcome another major carrier to Coventry. This service provides a much requested link to a major German economic region and also provides a convenient gateway into the many attractions of the area for German tourists'.

The city of Cologne is a major business and leisure destination as well as the gateway to the North Rhine Westphalia region. Bonn is the stylish old capital of West Germany with its heritage of Beethoven and Schubert.
