Atlantic Flight Training
About Atlantic Flight Training
Based at Coventry Airport, AFT has an experienced and knowledgeable team of instructors, state-of-the-art on-site facilities and an enviable fleet of aircraft and simulators. The remarkable fleet includes Single Engine Diamond DA-40 and Twin Engine Diamond DA-42 Twin Star. All aircraft are fitted with the Garmin 1000 twin screen avionics navigation system making it the most advanced routing technology available for flight training. Preparation for the use of the navigation tool is achieved through multiple high-tech DA-42 simulators located at the AFT flight base. The facilities also include flight operations, briefing rooms and classrooms.
AFT believes in training the modern way; by creating a bespoke personal learning environment that is driven by an understanding of the ever-changing needs of airlines. It is important to focus on all skill areas, not only focusing on the practical side of training, which develops the essential technical skills required to become a pilot - but also to help individuals develop their personal relation skills. AFT works with each cadet to ensure they achieve the highest successes and are fully prepared to work within the industry to become a valued employee of one of the world's finest airlines.
The Atlantic Flight Training Flight Crew Selection Team is touring Europe throughout 2012. Demand is extremely high and places are limited, so for any eager would-be pilots out there, it's time to book a place on one of the AFT assessment days.
